Meet Fariha.

My journey has been rooted in design and art ever since I was a child. I would paint, collage, sketch, and photograph everything around me. I eventually fell in love with photography more than any other artistic medium, because of the feelings it invoked when people saw their photos. Their joy of reliving precious moments became my passion and I fell in love with the art of visual storytelling ever since.

I studied architecture and design, worked as a handmade textile designer, and pursued photography on the side until it became my main source of joy and passion. Most days you’ll find me playing with my two daughters, in my studio editing photos while sipping a cup of hot chai, packing for a spontaneous road trip, or watching The Office for the tenth time. I enjoy hiking—some of my favorite hikes were at Zion National Park, Badlands National Park, and Mount Rainier National Park. I am also a photography history enthusiast and enjoy learning from the work of talented artists and photographers like Vivian Maier and Henri Cartier-Bresson.

A lot of my time is also spent behind the camera, the tool I use to tell stories like yours. During weddings I’m the photographer who will help you adjust your lengha, fix the groom's bowtie, remind you take a deep breath, help your Nani fix her dupatta, crack a joke to lighten the mood if things get stressful, and so much more—all while capturing your precious moments, smiles and happy tears.

But weddings are just one chapter. I also specialize in timeless portrait photography, capturing who you are in every stage of life—whether you’re celebrating milestones, refreshing your professional image, or cherishing moments with family. Every session is an opportunity to connect, have fun, and create lasting memories.

For me, photography is more than just a profession—it’s about building connections, honoring tradition, and crafting images that allow you to relive your most cherished moments again and again.
